Horses have been a huge passion of mine from a very early age; throughout my childhood and teenage years I spent a great deal of time creating all kinds of equestrian themed artwork.Having taken a break from drawing for several years I was inspired to begin drawing again by my own beautiful horses. I work primarily on pastel paper with rich quality coloured pencils, and in oils; creating portraits which aim to capture the unique expression and character of each animal.
I hope to increase my portfolio of work for sale over the coming months; however, my main focus currently is on a number of commissions I have undertaken. If you are interested in having a portrait commissioned of your animal please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.
I am currently based in Darlington, County Durham and live with my husband, my young son, and our three dogs. I enjoy dedicating a lot of time to my beloved horse Sam with whom I have plenty of fun competing at a local level.
